Carer involvement within Lanarkshire Carers is key to developing and delivering responsive services.

Lanarkshire Carers recognises that carers are ‘experts by experience’ and want to ensure that carers are able to contribute throughout the organisation and help shape the services provided by Lanarkshire Carers. For effective involvement, carers need to feel supported and for their contribution to be valued, respected and have an impact.

Carers are at the heart of our work, and are involved at every stage from consultations and planning, to service delivery and the governance of our organisation.
