Our Workstyles

Post holders will be based between our Carers Centres in Hamilton and Airdrie, and localities throughout Lanarkshire. Working from home/hybrid working may also be required.

All staff work on an outreach basis in community, health and social care venues across Lanarkshire.

Fixed Term, Initially to March 2028

Lanarkshire Carers is recruiting a Clerical and Administration Assistant to join our team. Lanarkshire Carers is an organisation where you will be supported, valued and well rewarded. 

Post holders will be based between our centres in Hamilton and Airdrie, and localities throughout Lanarkshire, with staff working on an outreach basis in community, health and social care venues across Lanarkshire. Working from home/hybrid working may also be required, although this post will not be part of the hybrid working rota and will mainly work from Lanarkshire Carers Centre: Hamilton.

The position is full time, 35 hours per week (fixed term, initially to March 2028) worked flexibly to include occasional evenings and weekends; however, part time hours could be considered for the right candidate.

The Clerical and Administration Assistant will provide support to the Business Administration team, CEO and operations of Lanarkshire Carers, contributing to the delivery of services and business requirements and working collaboratively with other team members as and when required. Our staff team, many of whom are carers themselves, are committed to making caring a positive experience.
