We are pleased to share the final published version of Lanarkshire Carers Strategic Development Document for 2026 – 2030. 

‘30-Year Foundations, Beyond and Empowered Together’

Throughout 2025 we reviewed the previous strategic framework, the progress made and impact of the work, identifying what has made us proud and our priorities for the future. We involved the board, staff, volunteers, full members and commissioners in these activities. This new document sets out the workstreams that continue to be relevant and helpful in our work, Plan, Practice, Provision, Partnership, People and Performance. For each of these we have detailed the actions and goals that will ensure that Lanarkshire Carers continues to focus our purpose and values, contract compliance and continuous improvement.

As a member-led organisation, carers are actively involved in influencing and shaping decisions and this new document is a record of what we intend to achieve together over the next 5 years. Thank you to everyone who has contributed, we look forward to providing updates through our annual reporting arrangements.
