Carers Week 2024 Activities - Out Now!

What is Carers Week?

Carers Week, taking place from 10–16 June 2024, is a UK-wide awareness campaign seeking to increase visibility for carers with decision-makers, services, employers, communities, and businesses.

This year the theme is 'Putting Carers on the Map' highlighting the invaluable contributions of carers across the UK and ensuring their voices are heard loud and clear. Together we want to help increase the visibility of the carers among politicians, employers and throughout our communities. By raising awareness we hope they will better recognise the challenges unpaid carers face and help them access the support they deserve.

We are hosting a range of in-person activities across Lanarkshire for carers to take part in during Carers Week 2024.

Join us to take some time out, meet other carers and access some peer support. Take a look at what we have on offer and book a place on any of the activities that interest you. It may also be the ideal opportunity for you to try something new
