Celebrating Trustees’ Week at Lanarkshire Carers

This week is Trustees’ Week, a time to recognise and celebrate the vital role trustees play in leading and supporting third sector organisations.

At Lanarkshire Carers, we are proud to be a carer-led organisation, governed by a Board of Directors who bring lived experience, leadership, and compassion to their role.

On Monday 3 November 2025 we held a celebration event to thank our Board members. Staff joined the trustees for this informal gathering, thanking them for their contribution and their focus on making Lanarkshire Carers a great place to work. Their guidance and strategic direction ensures Lanarkshire Carers delivers innovative and quality assured services for unpaid carers across Lanarkshire.

We’re thrilled to share that our Board of Directors has also been recognised through the North Lanarkshire Provost’s Award 2025, for their outstanding and dedicated service to the community. The award was presented at a ceremony held on Friday 12 September 2025 at Dalziel Park Hotel, Motherwell.

This week we also shared with our trustee’s a special edition of the OSCR Reporter newsletter, celebrating Trustees' Week - a time for people and organisations across the charity sector to come together and celebrate the achievements of trustees. Their contribution to Lanarkshire Carers is valued and appreciated.
