Flu Vaccines for Unpaid Carers
11 November 2024

Unpaid and young carers are eligible for the flu vaccine this winter
During the colder months, flu can spread more easily because we spend more time indoors with others. Flu or flu related complications can be serious and can result in some people needing hospital treatment.
Getting the flu vaccine not only provides protection from becoming very unwell with flu, but it also helps to reduce the spread of flu to those most vulnerable to serious illness. That's why unpaid and young carers are being offered the flu vaccine, to help protect themselves and those they care for.
