Carer Activities and Events

Lanarkshire Carers run a number of activities and events for carers throughout the year.

We also run tailored activities and events for specific groups of carers, such as Young Adult Carers, Carers from Minority Ethnic Communities, and those caring for someone with a specific health condition.

Carers Week is Monday 08 to Sunday 14 June 2026.

We are delighted to share with you our Programme of Activities for Carers Week 2026.

Carers Week takes place every June and is a UK-wide campaign to raise awareness of unpaid carers; bringing their voices to decision-makers, services, employers, communities, and businesses.

This year’s theme, Building Carer Friendly Communities, highlights the powerful difference supportive communities can make to carers’ lives.
