I am a qualified BACP registered counsellor offering remote counselling sessions at a discounted rate for carers. I used a blended approach using different counselling styles in order to work in a way that suits your support needs.  With lived experience of being in a caring role and almost twenty years working in the health and social care sector prior to becoming a counsellor, I can offer empathy and understanding of your situation. I have specific experience with strokes, dementia, bereavement and in interest in neurodiversity. I understand the physical strain and emotional pressures that caring can bring and as such I wish to offer a discounted service to those in a caring role and also to former carers.

20% reduction from standard fee to unpaid carers with a valid and up-to-date carers card.

Conditions & Exclusions

Carers should advise that they are a carer at the time of booking and hold a valid and up-to-date Lanarkshire Carers Card.

Not Yet a Carer Card Holder?

Any carer over the age of 18 providing unpaid care, who lives in Lanarkshire and is known to us can request a card.
