Below you will find a list of current local and national grant funds that can assist carers (and those they care for) take a break from caring. Before applying, please refer to the eligibility criteria to ensure you meet the criteria for the relevant fund.

Lanarkshire Carers is participating in a project called Respitality in partnership with Shared Care Scotland. Respitality (respite breaks and hospitality) aims to make connections between local organisations that help support unpaid carers and local hospitality providers such as hotels, guest houses, leisure clubs etc.

ScotSpirit Voucher Holiday Scheme

The ScotSpirit Holiday Voucher Scheme is focused on supporting individuals and families who have been particularly adversely affected by the impact of the pandemic, while at the same time providing financial support to the Scottish tourism sector. Lanarkshire Carers are the delivery partner for this scheme in Lanarkshire.
