ScotSpirit Voucher Holiday Scheme
The VisitScotland ScotSpirit Holiday Voucher Scheme is funded by Scottish Government and forms part of the Scottish tourism pandemic recovery programme. The new scheme will enable unpaid carers to enjoy a subsidised break in Scotland.
The ScotSpirit Holiday Voucher Scheme is focused on supporting individuals and families who have been particularly adversely affected by the impact of the pandemic, while at the same time providing financial support to the Scottish tourism sector. Lanarkshire Carers are the delivery partner for this scheme in Lanarkshire.
This scheme is aimed at unpaid carers (including young carers) who have been particularly adversely affected by the pandemic, and who are therefore most likely to be experiencing continuing disadvantage. Carers who have experienced extended periods of isolation and a lack of any meaningful breaks, for example due to long periods of shielding, or the suspension of support services that would normally provide a break, will be invited to apply.
If you have already received a break from the ScotSpirit Holiday Voucher Scheme managed by the Family Holiday Association or if you have an application pending, you will not be able to apply through Lanarkshire Carers.
This pilot fund is no longer accepting applications at this time. The Short Breaks Bureau are currently working through the applications for this scheme. Thank you.
