Expand your understanding of health and wellbeing with our comprehensive Diabetes Awareness Session, designed to provide deep insight into a condition that affects millions of lives worldwide.

You will learn more about this common health condition, and will cover what diabetes is, the signs and symptoms to look out for. You will also leave with a more comprehensive understanding of the Causes and Risk Factors, and explore the genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that contribute to the development of the condition. There will also be information on support available to those affected.

Whether you are looking to improve your own understanding, support a loved one, or learn how to reduce your risk, this informative session will provide practical information and guidance. Come along, ask questions, and find out where to access help and support within your community.

Delivered as part of the Lanarkshire Carers Equality and Diversity Service, this course is open to all carers. Interpretation will be available for Minority Ethnic Carers to ensure carers can fully participate. Please let us know your requirements when booking.
