Moving Forward from Caring

Moving Forward from Caring
In Person Course

This supportive course is designed to help you navigate the transition from your caring role in a safe, understanding, and compassionate environment. We recognise that caring for someone can be both rewarding and challenging, often having a significant impact on your emotional wellbeing, identity, and day-to-day life.

Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your personal caring experience and explore how it may have affected you. With guidance and peer support, we will gently work towards helping you reconnect with your sense of self beyond your caring role.

You will also be supported to identify and rediscover your personal strengths, skills and qualities, many of which may have developed or been strengthened through your caring responsibilities. By recognising these attributes, you will feel more confident, empowered, and better prepared to move forward into the next stage of your life, whether that involves education, employment, volunteering, or personal development.

The course provides a welcoming space to share experiences, build resilience, and develop practical tools to support your wellbeing and future goals. Lunch will be provided.
