Take some time for yourself and join our relaxed and welcoming Singing for Carers workshop.
Through gentle breathwork, mindfulness and singing, you'll discover simple techniques to help calm the body and mind, reduce stress, and promote wellbeing. Research shows that group singing does much more than bring joy.
By joining us, you can, Reduce Stress & Fatigue: Deep, controlled breathing during singing lowers cortisol levels and calms the nervous system.
Boost Your Mood: Singing triggers the release of endorphins and oxytocin—the brain's natural "happy" and bonding chemicals.
Connect with Others: Meet and bond with fellow carers in your local community, reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness. This enjoyable session offers a chance to relax, connect with other carers, and experience the uplifting benefits of singing together in a supportive environment.
No singing experience is required, just come along and enjoy the moment.

Notes
At Lanarkshire Carers, we try our very best to ensure that carers get access to as much information and training opportunities as possible to help them in their caring role. We provide free of charge training courses to ensure that no carer will ever be unable to attend due to financial reasons. However, there is a cost to us and for some courses, it can be considerable.
We understand that as carers, something can arise which would prevent you from attending a pre-registered course. If you are unable to attend please contact us as soon as possible. Many of these courses have a waiting list and unless we know, we are unable to offer your place to someone else.
