In Person Course
Join us for a relaxed and friendly session for Young Adult Carers aged 18–25.
Meet others who understand the realities of caring, learn about the support and opportunities available through Lanarkshire Carers, and find out how we can support you in your caring role.
Our Carer Support Workers will be on hand for a chat, to answer questions, and offer advice in a welcoming, informal environment.
Alongside learning about support available to you, there’ll be some fun Christmas-themed activities, pizza, and the chance to connect with other young adult carers.
At Lanarkshire Carers, we try our very best to ensure that carers get access to as much information and training opportunities as possible to help them in their caring role. We provide free of charge training courses to ensure that no carer will ever be unable to attend due to financial reasons. However, there is a cost to us and for some courses, it can be considerable.
We understand that as carers, something can arise which would prevent you from attending a pre-registered course. If you are unable to attend please contact us as soon as possible. Many of these courses have a waiting list and unless we know, we are unable to offer your place to someone else.
